McKinley for Congress campaign announces staff

Today, the McKinley for Congress campaign announced its campaign staff. Team McKinley is comprised of talented and dedicated staff members. The campaign is excited to have such an impressive team in place to promote their message of more jobs, less spending, and greater opportunities for all West Virginians. Below, please see a short bio from each of our staff members. 


Thomas Midanek
Campaign Manager

Thomas Midanek has served at various levels on multiple campaigns. He most recently managed one of the most highly contested Delegate races in Virginia, a campaign which won by a significant margin and well outperformed expectations for the district. During previous election cycles, Thomas's involvement has included working for a media consulting firm as well as leading RNC Victory efforts in one of 2010's most targeted congressional races. Thomas graduated from American University with a degree in Political Science. He is also a graduate of the Campaign Management Institute at American University as well as the RNC's Campaign Victory School.

Samantha Waldron
Finance Director

Samantha Waldron has been involved in politics for several years; including having served at the RNC's most recent convention in Tampa. She is currently pursuing a masters degree in American Politics at WVU.

Brock Densel
Political Director (Morgantown) 

Brock Densel has been involved in campaigns since 2008, most recently running a successful office as a field director for the Republican Party of Virginia. He has also interned for various national Republican committees, and worked with a number of political consulting firms. Brock is a graduate of Ohio Northern University (B.A. -- Political Science) and of The George Washington University (M.P.S. -- Political Management). 

Coleby Mathews
Regional Field Director (Wheeling) 

Coleby Mathews has diverse experience in political activities. During the 2008 election cycle, Coleby volunteered with the Chatham County (GA) Republican Party, campaigning for various candidates running for county, state, and national offices. An Iraq War veteran, Coleby attends West Liberty University where he is pursuing a bachelor degree in Political Science.

Angela Cordell
Regional Field Director (Parkersburg) 

Angela Cordell has worked on campaigns since 2010 through her involvement in College Republicans.  She has experience in local, state, and national campaigns, and served as an intern for Mitt Romney in 2012. She recently graduated from Ohio University with a degree in Political Science, specializing in American Politics and Campaigns.
