Morgantown, WV -- Today, David McKinley received the endorsement of the West Virginia Chamber of Commerce.

"The West Virginia Chamber is proud to support David McKinley. His knowledge and dedication to the people of West Virginia combine to make him the best choice to represent the first congressional district," said Steve Roberts, West Virginia Chamber President. "David McKinley has backed those issues most important to West Virginians and is the best choice for our state's future."

In response to this endorsement David McKinley said, “ It is important to create a climate where West Virginia businesses can thrive, and a place where our children and grandchildren aren't force to leave the state to find jobs. As a small business owner for 30 years, I understand what is like to sign the front of a paycheck and have employees and their families rely on you to make ends meet. Our goal is to strengthen the business community and make this great state more competitive, it is an honor to be endorsed by an organization that perpetuates and shares these same goals”.

Protecting businesses throughout the state and improving the economy has been David McKinley’s top priority. David McKinley introduced legislation that provides tax credits for companies that bring back jobs to old industrial sites, and other legislation that alleviates the burden on small businesses.

The West Virginia Chamber of Commerce is a business organization that represents the interest of small and large businesses across the state; they give private-sector employers a seat at the table and protect local business interests.
